attaching planters to neighbours walls

attaching planters to neighbours walls

Postby CaptainBill » Thu Sep 25, 2014 3:49 pm

Hello,

My house has an alleyway down the side, in order to access my back garden and the neighbours garden. The alleyway is constructed of the side wall of my house and a 2m tall brick wall, on the opposite side, which is the back wall of a side property.

Can I attach planters / trellis’s to the brick wall or would I need to seek permission?

No ....if its not your wall you cannot touch it plus if the alleyway is a ROW you cannot do anything that would restrict the width of the alleyway

mmm, I wonder, do I need to ask my neighbour for permission to tamper with his property rather than act as if I owned it?

not difficult when you think about it...

Kind regards, Mac
