boggy garden

I need advice please, the bottom of my garden is really wet, after a bit if rain it turns into a mucky bog! (there is grass but more mud) what could i do? my dog loves mud!! but i dont! :roll:

Ditto, or you could raise the soil level with gravel.

Is it wet all year round or just in the autumn and winter?

There's a similar question on another forum http://ask4help.org.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=405 which may help. You could turn the area into a bog garden if it's wet all year round.

We have the same problem, last year I built a small raised lawn and it was very successful.....but then we had the builders in and it had to go :cry:

So I have to start over.
