That's a bit of a vague description but my first guess would be Sticky Willie aka cleavers. Also possible a sow thistle with an aphid infestation. The excellent Down Garden Services website has a great weed ID section with leaf pictures arranged by growing habit - this is the section for scramblers where you'll find a picture of cleavers:

It's probably............ STICKYWEED !

AKA - Gallium Aparine / Bedstraw / Goosegrass / Cleavers / Coachweed / Catchweed / Robin-run-the-hedge / Sticky Willy, etc.

We call it sticky jack, and I've pulled miles of it out of the garden this afternoon. :)
Keep calm and carry on.
