Awww, one of my favourites.

Did you know that the Long Tailed Tit builds it's nest using spiders webs,

Therefore making the nest stretchy so it can accommodate it's growing chicks :shock:

They are the cutest of cuties in the bird world aren't they. :)

I had read about how they build nests and then make them stretch to fit their growing young, it is absolutely genius.

I didn't know that. Aren't they clever? They use feathers, moss and lichen too. We once found a nest in the garden that was lined with aubretia, and some of it was flowering. Bird wall paper. 8)
