Tree on a boundary

Tree on a boundary

Postby pg81 » Mon Oct 10, 2011 12:53 pm

I would be very grateful if anyone can give me any advice on this asap please....

We have a tree growing on the boundary between my neighbour & myself so am I right in thinking that we jointly own it?

I need to cut down the piece that is on my side and will be doing this as carefully as possible. However if it were subsequently to die would I be liable in any way?

Thanks for any help you can give.
