garden law

We are subjected to 4 washing lines full of washing daily 7 days a week. The land immediately behind our house is owned by a landlord who allows his tenants to hang out washing. There are two families who use the lines.
We have to look out from our kitchen at underwear and bedding and other clothes daily.
The people hanging out the washing don't overlook their washing but we have to and the landlord who owns this piece of land doesn't care that we have to look at his tenants washing daily. We have lived here nearly 3 years and the landlord has gradually allowed the 4 clothes lines to be strung up between trees immediately outside our small patio area.
We don't want to erect a fence as we would lose too much light.
Any suggestions?

I don't think there's anything you can do as the washing lines are on their own land. If you don't want to see the washing then you could erect a fence. You'll need to decide which you would rather have - some light or a view of the washing.
Keep calm and carry on.
