dog muck

Hi all,we have a rather nasty problem in that a terraced house we are about to let out has a gated entry to either end of the alley to the row of houses it is situated in.One of the houses in this row of ours lets his large (hooch type) dog into the alley to crap anywhere it likes and leaves great mounds of crap in the alleyway. We hear that this lovely character is not the most approachable dog owner in town.

Any advice please.

What a truly disgusting person he is

I suspect the gated alley is also a Right of Way and as such theres no way it should be used for such a purpose

Equally if its a ROW the gates can be seen as interference with that ROW

hence if the gates are not shut and the dog gets out .............its time to call in the dog warden

meanwhile i would ensure the Environmental Health Officer for your council is urgently contacted i would hope they have the power to act
