Neighbours boundary fence

Neighbours boundary fence

Postby Barney1995 » Fri May 30, 2014 2:45 pm

Hi
My neighbour has a 5 foot boundary fence which is in a very bad state. Instead of taking it down they have put up a 6 ft fence running along side the old one on there side of the garden, leaving the old one on our side which obviously look horrible. Do i have many options to deal with this.

Regards

Hi Barney

Do you know who owns the old fence? Could it be that the neighbours believe it belongs to you and so have left it in place?

Kind regards

Help it fall down quietly :D  and forget to mention it.

In 10 years it could be your land.

Hi Barney,

so, why do they have a camera pointing at the boundary area? (are you not telling us something?)

doesn't the new fence obscure the view of the old fence?

how do you think they'd react if they saw the old fence being removed?

Kind regards, Mac

Is this a different neighbour to the one objecting to your 'too high' fence panel?
