Established Privet Poorly

Hello.

Does anyone know if my Privet is beyond redemption?

The whole 20 yard (6 foot high) length has suddenly gone yellow with the leaves going crisp and dropping off. In teh 20 years I have had and nurtured the hedge it has never done this. I dont think its been poisoned as it wraps round my property and the whole lot is going the same, there is some pyracantha in amongst it that hasnt been affected.

Any thoughts?

Hi

Privet is semi-evergreen. It may just be loosing its leaves for winter. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they loose some but not all, sometimes all.
