Sumac,
When you are logged on and are viewing your replies, top right hand corner there is the option of edit/delete.
I think you may only have the option of editing the post though, that is just erasing the content unless there is a X that deletes post. I do not have site wide priority to delete and possibly admin may choose to delete when they do their housekeeping.
