Re: Separate Entrances - Negating Prior Joint Access Arrange

I did ask for recommendations from friends but the suggestions were for our better known (and highest charging) local law firms (West Sussex). I will do as you recommend and phone a few, but it's hard to know where to st...

Re: Separate Entrances - Negating Prior Joint Access Arrange

If somebody could recommend an appropriate professional (property lawyer?) to make the above changes to our respective Deeds I would be very grateful. I don't know where to start with finding somebody to do this, or what is entailed, or even how much I should expect to pay (there seems to be great v...

I know what you mean. A few years ago my neighbours on the other side painted their fence in 'autumn glow' (which is bright orange) and it ran through everywhere. It was awful - I had to go out and buy several pots of 'autumn glow' (which I hate) and then paint my side to even it up and disguise all...

Thank you for the response. Sorry, by 'paint' I meant I had used wood preserver (in a neutral dark oak colour). My neighbours did not want bare untreated wood panels on their side, and they did match up the wood-preserver colour with the same one I used on my side. But I think they felt that I shoul...

Painting the Back of a Fence

Hi Everybody I've found the forum very helpful but would like to ask a specific question about my fence. I have replaced the wood panel fence between my boundary and my neighbours (the fence is marked on the Deeds as being my responsibility). The fence runs between part of our respective back garden...
