Re: Chartered surveyors

I'd personally pick one of these two options: Your car is not causing an obstruction or interference if others can easily pass by. Continue parking there. Accept your car is causing an obstruction or interference when parked on the row, so move it up to your legitimate parking space, on their land.

Re: Someone put bollards up in the lane behind my house!

Someone, somewhere owns it. You just don't know who. Quite possibly they themselves don't know they own it.

It should, if it's sturdily constructed with well-anchored posts, by a competent builder.

I wouldn't even gift her the rubble bags. That'd make it too easy for her to move the rubble on again. Empty them. On her front doorstep.

Forget about recovering any costs though.

You're intending to sell, and you're considering opening a dispute with the neighbour? I bet that'd drop the price of your property even lower that that structure!

Nice bit of water. What was he fishing for? Catching much? Any? You've got 2 things going on here: That actual structure and What you feel he owes you by way of neighborliness, consultation, agreement, timing etc and how you perceive him as failing in that. Dunno about the first. I'd venture the opi...

What sort of tree is it that the neighbour is climbing down?............if it's a self set ash or sycamore, then just fell it, if it's something different or productive it may need a rethink.
Might be as well to check for a TPO before firing up the Stihl.
