Ahh Now I understand what shedul of works means. Yes it does seem like the footings are large. But both me and the previous nabour both liked to do things properly. I don't believe this development falls under planning consent

It's permitted development.

But I am concerned if there would be sufficient funds in the event of any damage arising from these works

One question has arisen in my mind .

Would I be entitled to insist on seeing my nabours house insurance. And to make sure that the nabours has means to correct any damage done to my house (worse case) from the close exevation to my footins? ??
