Re: Fence Designed to Injure

I'm not sure this helps. Regarding trespassing, you're NOT allowed to bobby trap your garden in an attempt to hurt and injure trespassers/burglars. This include placing nails on top of the fence. As these extreme measures are also a risk to the general public who might be lost, or a genuine visitor ...

Re: Ongoing Boundary dispute

Cosmos, is there anything you're not providing? Is everything accurate? Everything I'm seeing so far is harassment. As others stated in this thread and previous thread, your neighbours are simply bullies trying to create fear and intimidation. We'd a similar process with our not so nice neighbour an...

Re: Easement width issue and partially blocked access

While I'm no legal expert, there are a few issues. 1. In the original plan, your NFH has a driveway running alongside the house but in the photos it not present.Where the driveway should be, instead it's a garage and with a bedroom/study built on top. Was there an extension built onto of the drivewa...

Funny how the other thread is deleted but not this one. Even I'd asked this thread to be deleted.

Re: Neighbour is claiming a small strip of front garden

Who own the fence? Has the fence been replaced or put back in it place? How much land are they claiming? If you're truly the victims and the neighbours are taking advantage because of your age and health. If I was in your position, I would keep on calling the police and try to speak to the higher u...

Re: Removing fence on a ROW

Yes I have checked deeds of course. It simply says the have a right of way through the ally. No covenant or restrictions. But does removing the fencing in someways remove that ROW as there is no physical barrier. A right of way is basically from A to B and vice versa. As long the right of way is su...

Neighbour's trees pushing over retaining wall

I'm looking for some advise regarding I assumed to be a party wall. We did pay 50/50 for a new fence on top of the retaining wall and we recently had to pay 50% for a new fence in the back garden. (They levelled their back garden, added flower beds and use the boundary fence to retain their garden.)...

Re: leylandii narrowing our right of way

I don't know if your neighbour is a narcissist but narcissistic personalty disorder have fragile egos and they can be easily rattled. You just have to look at Daniel Trump and the way he handled losing the election. Bullies with Narcissistic personalty disorder gets an ego boosts when they bu...

Re: leylandii narrowing our right of way

And he has now concreted in a metal rod as a 'backstop' to his gate so it can no longer be pushed to the side completely...it permanently protrudes by 30cm onto the drive. Is it OK for him to do this? No, it is not OK. You are entitled to use the full width of the drive - as laid out. Sorry, I misr...
