Re: Nightmare neighbours

I agree with Mr Sheen, politely ask the neighbour if you can see the surveyor's report. I am surprised that they have not already offered to share it with you if it supports their claim. It is unlikely that a surveyor registered with the RICS would not put in writing what he believes to be true, fri...

Re: Neighbour's quadcopter camera over my garden

M'Lud, it would be dependant on the amount of surface water. You are wrong. You continue to reply with quotes that are taken completely out of context. Please let me try and help you. You asked me how I would feel about surface water on by property. I replied, as above, that it would be dependant o...

Re: Neighbour's quadcopter camera over my garden

M'Lud, it would be dependant on the amount of surface water. No - it wouldn't, there is no amount of surface water you can shed onto your neighbours land. There you go, once again Arborlad, you did not comprehend the answer to the question you poised. You asked me how I would feel about a neighbour...

Re: Neighbour's quadcopter camera over my garden

The reason that I wrote I would prefer not to have you as a neighbour is due to nothing more than I hate having to listen to other people's music. Music aside - how would you feel about a neighbour who drives over your land and gets all uppity when you prevent it, and sheds surface water onto it? T...

Re: Neighbour's quadcopter camera over my garden

Arborlad, I am still waiting for an answer to the question I asked you 5 years ago. But you clammed up didn't you. I wonder why that was. May I suggest Rosenberg, when dealing with any legal matters it is most important that you follow the accepted protocols. It is not (normally) the correct protoc...

Re: Neighbour's quadcopter camera over my garden

Welcome back Rosenberg. The reason that I wrote I would prefer not to have you as a neighbour is due to nothing more than I hate having to listen to other people's music. Your suggestions, however, that one particular poster could use his talents on the television medium of communication is quite pe...

Re: Development of a studio built in a garden

No I'll leave that to you, but I do have empathy. Dealing with some people from cultures that have different values than what we regard as acceptable can be a challenge.

That is NOT to pass judgement on other cultures, just to accept that they can have different ways of doing things.

Re: Vehicular ROW dispute - claim of false deeds!

Yes, I agree. The conductor was the great Jack Parnell who led the band that backed all the great singers in London including Billie Holiday.

Re: Development of a studio built in a garden

It is entirely unnecessary to reference where the neighbour comes from. Also, reference to the neighbour having "African values" is equally inappropriate. Having worked on the Accra Docks Project in the early 1980s, I am not so sure; paying 'dash' to all in sundry was common place (and expected) in...

Good singer with an excellent band led by Jack Parnell, Jack was one of our best drummers.

Re: Neighbour's quadcopter camera over my garden

There's a dwindling number of people in the Rosenberg Appreciation Society - you are one, Rosenberg another and the third selfimploded and she is no more!!! .....................but that's not the purpose of your post - is it?? Your response confirms my point. ...............so the red is in praise...

Re: Neighbour's quadcopter camera over my garden

It is a pleasure to read the posts from Rosenberg since they are all written with a command of the English language. May I suggest some of the problems he is experiencing with one particular forum contributor is due to the latter's probable ability to read written English but inability to comprehen...

Re: Neighbour's quadcopter camera over my garden

I clearly stated the reason why it was a pleasure for me to read Rosenberg's posts; this was due to his correct use of the English language, nothing else. I'm not so sure about that. For example, his sentence " Do you feel like you are being manipulated at all; like your thoughts aren't entirely yo...
