Re: Change of use to garden, how many years?

Regarding applying for change of use to garden, would this be a householder application or full application if the land is abutting my property but not actually part of it?

Thanks

Re: Ordnance survey legend/key

Hi, The slope may well be correct. But there's definitely no structure at the site indicated on the map. I've checked historical and recent versions of the map and the square is present in all of them, since the 1970s to the present day, yet I can't find anything on the land to suggest what it might...

Ordnance survey legend/key

Hi Does anyone know if there is a legend or key to the various symbols/lines that appear on an Ordnance Survey map used on Land Registry maps? Specifically I am trying to identify what the square (annotated in a red circle) and the black lines immediately below the square represent. Screen Shot 2016...

Change of use to garden, how many years?

Hi, I know this has probably been mentioned before but I can't find it  and some places I've seen say 4 years, some say 10... so, can someone please authoritatively tell me how many years must pass for change of use from agricultural land to garden to become lawful without planning permission?...

Prove the dimensions written on the plan were correct. Just because you got it written on there doesn't mean it is.

Prove exactly which boundaries need expanding in which directions .
How can I prove these things?

Re: Boundary on title plan totally wrong

Thanks Mac, I e-mailed HMLR this afternoon and I am waiting for a reply. I'm the impatient sort (partly why I don't want to do adverse possession, the 12 year wait would kill me) so I thought I'd see if any of you knowledgeable lot had any advice in the meantime :) re: planning permission - understo...

Re: Boundary on title plan totally wrong

Hi, It forms part of about an acre or so of unused and abandoned land which has become overgrown, full of brambles and 2 metre high impenetrable grass. I'd like to have the full 1200 square yards on the conveyance recognised on the title plan so I can cut down my plot and fence it off and use it to ...

Re: Boundary on title plan totally wrong

Sorry, in my first post, where I wrote feet, I meant yards  I'm metric, I'm not used to these old fashioned imperial units used in the conveyances

Re: Boundary on title plan totally wrong

Hi, The property was unregistered until I registered it. Before then it was owned by my parents who always assumed it was 600sq yards hence their garden stopped at that point so what is 'actually' possessed is 600 sq yards (so no chance of claiming via adverse possession at this stage but I don't se...

Boundary on title plan totally wrong

Hi, The boundary drawn on my registered title plan at Land Registry is totally wrong! This is because the plan that accompanied the original conveyance with the original owners (and all subsequent owners thereafter) also had the boundary drawn wrong. And when I say totally wrong, I mean... totally w...
