Re: right of way
Our builders are accessing the ROW with a transit size van and a smaller one. They have not been challenged for travelling up and down, put have been challenged once once for parking to unload materials. We have had tractors and trailers accessing the ROW to take away soil and rubble and deliver the...

Re: right of way
We are a few weeks into the renovation and have tried to use alternative measures to get materials on site via another neighbour. Ferrying materials over his hedge. He has been amazing. The ROW has been partially dug out and aggregated. We will finish in suitable material after the builders have gon...

Re: right of way
Thanks to you all again. We wrote back to the solicitors about two weeks ago and have heard nothing. We have had a tradesman assess the ROW and he is doing the ground work early in the new year. The builder erected scaffolding on the barn on Monday. During the exchange yesterday my neighbour said sh...

Re: right of way
HI, As I went out to open the gate onto the ROW I noticed that they had had some logs delivered. The delivery driver was just about to leave. I went back into the house for a short while, then came out again to see if the logs had been moved. They hadn't. I drove onto the ROW and took a photo on my ...

Re: right of way
Today I was verbally abused and physically threatened with a log of wood. The neighbours log delivery came seconds before I needed access to get get to a 1pm appointment.
I did manage to video some of the incident on my phone.

Re: right of way
We are going to give it one more go ourselves.
Will Base the letter on advice given on this site. If they then refuse to see reason, we will engage a solicitor from a good company. We have been recommended one already.
Thank you all.
Will keep you posted.

Re: right of way
So our next move will be to acknowledge the letter sent to us this week, then engage someone who does ground works and proceed with making the ROW fit for purpose
Thanks everyone.

Re: right of way
Hello, We will not proceed as yet with appointing a solicitor. Our neighbours did not dig up the gravel and it has now sunk into the mud following the persistent rain. Our four wheel drive just manages to negotiate the slight incline, my husbands van does not. Hence we have to keep this on the stree...

Re: right of way
Thanks again for your replies. Because of the recent wet weather the aggregate we applied a fortnight ago has sunk into the mud and we have more to put down to be able to gain traction in wet weather. We only use the right of way to pass and repass, however our neighbours allow professional tradesme...

Re: right of way
Hello again, Another letter from our neighbour's law firm, received today. Please note I have copied it exactly as worded and written. Further to your letter dated ******, our clients do not disagree with the right of way. In fact we have set this out to you in our previous correspondence. You have ...

Hi Asking this for a friend. His long term partner has recently died suddenly. She left no will and has not yet claimed her pension from work as she was under 60. We are presuming her estate will go to her siblings who are her next of kin, as she didn't leave a will. She was about to inherit a subst...
