Advice regards to wall drilling without consent

birdbox 0011.jpg I live in a semi detached house. My house boundary ends at the black arrow shown in the photo. My neighbours house has the front door in the photo. My neighbours house is recessed, so the corner wall of my house extends back and joins the wall to the left of the front door in the p...

Land Registry " Land associated with " on some houses

I have a house on a UK major housebuilder estate built around 1994. There are 70 houses. When searching Land Registry for a house on the estate around 50 houses show a result like this photo with 1 title register, 1 Title plan and 1 flood risk indicator : https://imageshack.com/i/plsVWjKGj Around 20...

Re: Adjoining boundary, do I have one ?

Thank you for your reply. My main concern with the extension is that it has increased the risk of trespass, or gaining a right of way on my pathway which I do not want. The additional information with the extension I felt may be useful in explaining how this happened. I am going to install a locking...

Re: Adjoining boundary, do I have one ?

Yes, my house was built in 1994. I have never applied for any planning permissions or permitted developments myself, so I have picked up some info by looking on the internet about what I believe has happened. I believe they have built a full width single storey upto 3m permitted development rear ext...

Re: Adjoining boundary, do I have one ?

Thanks. All the houses involved were built at around the same time in 1994 by a large housebuilder, on what I am pretty sure was previously farmland. I have owned my house and the pathway since 1998 and I know only my house and the two other houses with a right of way have been users of the pathway ...

Re: Adjoining boundary, do I have one ?

Thank you for your reply. I can position the gate along the pathway so that one house with a right of way does not have to use it and the second homeowner with a right of way actually suggested I put the gate in, so there should not be a problem with a gate I have had a clearly visible sign above th...

Re: Adjoining boundary, do I have one ?

I do find their new dysfunctional extension a bit odd and a bit of a nuisance. I feel I need to put a mortice locking gate on the pathway now to prevent any trespassing. Not fully decided whether a wood or metal gate is best. I also intend to put a sign on the sidewall of my house saying PRIVATE PAT...

Re: Adjoining boundary, do I have one ?

The council said it is a single storey you do not need planning permission extension and that they have little information for it. The house owners have built their extension and it completely covers over their only outside garden access. The only way their house can have outside garden access again...

Adjoining boundary, do I have one ?

I own a house with a private pathway. I own the pathway land and two other houses have a right of way over it. On the right hand side of the pathway is my house and my garden bounday fence. On the left hand side of the pathway that I own are the rear boundary fences of 4 other houses. One of the 4 h...
