Certainly looks ominous (gives you some privacy on that side, though), but does is it actually going to block your light that much? I notice the recent pictures to demonstrate the light "problem" are all taken at or very close to sundown at this time of the year, and the picture of before...

Re: Paradise in the Maldives

I like the fruit bat, must be strange seeing those flying about. :) You are a sun worshiper aren't you! That place would be my idea of hell. Yeah the fruit bats are a strange sight. The buggers never seem to rest & are about night & day. Often squabbling with each other in the trees :...

I found a way to get my dog to sit & pay attention. Show him a treat.
Place on your head & you get his full attention every time. He will even dribble for me.
Would of been around 9 months in this pic

Billy, you may well get your sunshine back as it looks like the whole thing could come crashing down any day - just make sure that you aren't on the patio when it does. That extension should be on 'builders from hell!' and it is the worst new building that I have ever seen (except abroad of course!...

Your Robbie is GORGEOUS!!!! :D AW!!! Snow is a playground for dogs, not cats though, our cat won't even go out. I had a Labrador cross growing up and he used to jump in ponds and chase ducks, you couldn’t take him anywhere without coming home wet and filthy. haha yeah he's a good lad. Re: Blocking out Sunlight

Yes the extension is stunning! So when do they finish? :? Does it block light from your garden or windows or both? Just garden area & the kitchen door but that didn't count according to the Council. Suppose it will get finished when they can find the money to finish it. Putting the roof b...

Re: Blocking out Sunlight

Isn't it time this Government got its act together & stopped ignorant people from doing this full stop? Add walls to the Anti Social Behaviour Act as well if they are not going to amend the Town & Country Planning Act. Every case would have to be judged on its own merit, people do need to e...

Blocking out Sunlight

To a neighbours property is extremely disrespectful & ignorant. To resolve problems with high hedges blocking out light to a neighbouring property it has been included in the Anti Social Behaviour Act 2003 section 8. The Government should be applauded for this because it is very much anti social...
