It would be better if people couldn't so easily spy with their CCTV. I think some sad people will always do this secretly for voyeuristic pleasure but that is their problem. I just don't think anyone should be able to slap a camera up that views another’s windows and garden and think they are fine ...

I think many will sympathise with you re the trampoline issue and how intrusive they can be. I think trying to mask it is a good idea, trampolines are great fun when you are bouncing on one, but not for those who have their privacy ruined by it. You are not alone, if you do a search here for trampo...

or my neighbour has put his chav bubble on stilts. What is a chav bubble anyway? It is a cheap nasty conservatory, usually white UPVC with no style or a lean to of monstrous proportions etc... Usually someone overcompensating for something. strange lives they have if they get a kicknou...

Re: Trampoline higher than fence

Stake them in the ground so they are not going to compromise a fence and put long thin planters in front of them which won’t take up much room and grow some pretty climbers, ivy etc would the climbers take long to grow? I am in ireland and was not aware trampolines were such a problem. Thanks for li...

Re: Trampoline higher than fence

Have you thought about screening it off? yes, if you mean plant some trees. But they would have be tall as the fence is 6 feet and the trampoline is up above that You could buy very tall bamboo canes and make a tall trellis structure to grow climbing plants up. Stake them in the ground so they are ...

in ireland you need planning permission for cctv.is that not so in uk? No, this is the first I have heard that in Ireland you need permission. I think if enough nasty people abuse the privilege of having CCTV for voyeuristic pleasure in the guise of protection, there could be a re-think in this cou...

Trampoline higher than fence

Can the neighbour put a trampoline that is a few feet above the fence in the garden next door. Is there a privacy matter there or any right to privacy when kids playing on it are overlooking the garden?
