How do they know the trees are dead ?
Don't they need a specialist report to confirm it ?

I've logged that one into my memory bank for future use. I can understand how you feel used and very annoyed but from his point of view .....what a smart move indeed. 8)

Virtually anything and everything is guaranteed to upset someone somewhere. Its easier to list the things that will upset neighbours than try to identify something that won't.

buy a few copper nails. nail them into the stump of a freshly cut tree. it's slow, but it does the job as the copper poisons the root system. The stump of my holly tree which kept trying to come back each year is now dead :) Oh gawd not this AGAIN. Copper nails dont kill trees. They do if they are ...

My neighbours the other side are OAP's they don't have one, they hate them and all they want is to play their Matt Munroe music and have peace and quiet.....there is no give & take with them......they don't seem to know what it is. . What's wrong with Matt Munroe? Although given a choice I'd rather...

We have asked our neighbours if they will put up new fences as its their boundary.

Jesus !.......What planet are you from ?

You want to create a gap in the boundary and expect others to spend their money filling it in for you. Thats the best laugh I've had all day.....Thanks..

Next week, once the new pics are stuck on, my tomatoes crop will look absolutely fantasic.

You should have used ordinary fence panels.....they are cheaper, look good and its virtually impossible to give your neighbour a 'bad side'.

Us southerners can't afford close boarded fences, all our money is spent on girlfriends, polo horses and getting the porsche serviced.

My neighbour has asked for the fences to be changed around, so that he has the 'nice' side. Its unbelievable that people will unashamedly ask if they can have the fence changed round to suit them......in spite of you paying for it. I'd probably have a bit of fun with this one and offer the ...

OK, I'm not defending your neighbour/ contractors but water based fence stain won't generally kill plants or frogs and I suspect you would need to apply more than a few oversprays to your pond to kill the contents. So, in my opinion its not quite as bleak a picture as you suggest. If the spray is sp...

I have only used a cuprinol sprayer on panels laid flat on the lawns and well away from other garden items, cars and neighbours. Anything else is risking overspray on items you might not want oversprayed.

You have been warned......but you are free to do whatever you want to.

Are you sure its 'creosote' and not one of the water based wood stain/ preservers generally available ?
