+1 - car trolley jacks make the job nice and easy :)

What the OP needs to do first is check who actually owns the unadopted road and also check their deeds to see if there is a right of way noted

Re: replacing fence but advice on neighbours trees needed pl

ms29zippy, When you dismantle the existing fence I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of next doors vegetation that was held by the fence expands over the border....chop it back to the boundary.....but no further. When you install the new fence, either go slotted concrete posts or wooden with quick rele...

Re: Re:Window/boundary issue

Yvonne I've been waiting for you to post an invite to a weekend long BBQ at your place for Garden law members, where mysteriously someone unplugs your CCTV and several people that you've never seen before batter your next door neighbour, leave him in his car in the lane outside with several bottles ...

If the developer moans, ask for £50K to remove pole and £100K for the fence :twist...

Re: Tree cutting thrown back over the wall

To quote Treeman Just for the record there is a legal precedent that the owner of the tree is entitled to the benefits of the tree, a judge says it belongs to them. The judge didn’t say it belongs to them but you can’t return it to their property, the judge didn’t say you must offer them back he jus...
