Anniversary

Post by Conveyancer » Thu May 10, 2007 11:10 am

Not really news, but today (10th May) is the 36th anniverary of when I started in the law.

Who would like to turn the clock back to when they were 19?

May you have many, many more to come. Good adversarial attorneys are worth their weight in oil, so keep up the good work.

I believe that behind that eloquent delivery of your stream of knowledge lies another "Shark". Yes, I think that James Woods in the series "Shark" is excellent. Watch it every Thursday at 10pm. :)

Yes. Congratulations Conveyancer. I enjoy our debates, even the ones I loose.....and the best thing is that I always learn something new from you.

I'm not sure I would want to be 19 again though.

Why ?

Think about it......
* living with your mum
* no money
* old car
* spend all your spare time chatting to girls
* no wisdom
* no knowledge
* no common sense
* difficulty saying no to anything

and so it goes on.......better to have maturity and be able to turn all the negatives into positives.

Congratulations Conveyancer - I usually read your posts first, even if it is a subject I have no particular interest in, just for your use of the English language.

You've set me thinking - this day 39 years ago, I was 4 days out of Southampton, as a Deck Hand on the Oronsay, bound for Oz - so probably just entering the Med and a bit warmer than it is today :lol:

Don't forget to watch Shark tonight - Channel 5 at 10pm, just after House.
Maybe you will something of yourself there.

When I was 19, the first live murder was shown on TV.

Anyone know who that was?
