The other side of the hedge borders a public footpath and he keeps this trimmed back. Mainly because he had a letter from the council several years ago stating 'if he did not cut it back they would cut it back and invoice him for the work.' Since then he has always cut the other side of the hedge but has allowed the hedge on the shared drive side to overgrow. He is not a very nice main to deal with.
I assume that applies to all four of you, do you cut your section personally or use a contractor?....................if a contractor, there are obvious benefits to one man cutting both sides and top of all four hedges.
What type of hedge is it?
