Hedges ripped out and cut!

Post by Mweb » Fri Jun 02, 2017 9:23 pm

Just returned from holiday to find neighbours have ripped out and cut some Laurel hedging i recently planted on my adjoining land to my house.

Please advise if a criminal offence?

Hi Mweb,

you'll need clear evidence - show this to the police.

otherwise, without evidence, it's not likely to make it to court.

Kind regards, Mac

You have multiple threads with unanswered questions in most of them!

I had something similar where a neighbour reached across into my garden and attempted to snap and uproot some newly planted bushes. I had this on CCTV and the police decided to take no further action aside from a strong warning to him.
But if you have no proof it was him, very hard to take this forward, I would say.
