TV aerial
I understand your rights when a tree overhangs a property but what rights if any do you have if a tv aerial overhangs you property ( ie roof) by several feet.

Re: TV aerial
Hi Morgan Sweet,
you own the air space above your land to a sensible point - and that would most definitely include the immediate airspace above your house.
which means you can remove the item.
kind regards, Mac

Re: TV aerial
Thanks for the reply Mac. What if the aerial is fixed to a neighbouring building but overhangs your roof by say 3 feet. I guess that you can not chop off the overhang (as in a tree) and you would not be permitted to remove the aerial since it is fixed to a neighbouring property.
Re: TV aerial
I suppose that if the aerial has been in such a position for twenty years an easement by prescription might be claimed so that it might remain by right. On the other hand one could simply ask the owner to move it, as a starting point. Is this a real or hypothetical situation?
